At this stage, I get the feeling that there are three major potential sources of proteins I can use:
If My body needs extra proteins for stronger muscles and especially for training, what is the idea source? Labels: fitness notes Very little dairy products
Right now, I still consume 2 liters of yoghurt in the form of evening snacks and salad dressings.
Cheese is minimal, hardly any left. No more mozarella or feta. I only buy some goat cheese, around 300 grams every 10 days. The goal here is especially to ease up the pressure on the animal kingdom. It's a reaction to industrial farming and use of cows. Labels: fitness notes Back to fish + chicken?
It has been now more than a year since I totally stopped buying fish.
Chicken was already gone maybe one year before that. Now, over the last year, I noticed as well a renewed weakening or slight pain on lower back and sometimes knees. It is not much but is enough to ring an alarm bell. Is this related with a lack of protein? This is one of the key questions I have right now. If protein stimulates muscle building and muscle sustains knees and back, then lower protein intake will negatively impact on the muscle mass. therefore, it might weaken these joint and lower back areas. Is this true? Is this how it works? This is a theory I would need to confirm Labels: fitness notes Which strategy to choose? - Find new training rhythm + Key diet or training shift!
Over the last few months, the summer is coming back and it is clear there is an unbalance.
Too heavy over the waste line. I am at 75% of my ideal fitness and shape. One of the keys is because of back pressure, i stopped with biweekly jogging. To compensate for that, I do as well eat less. Still bike to dunes and swim +light jogg twice/day. Something need to change and evolve though! It is clear! Here are possible solutions and new strategies:

This is one of the top strategies as well.
Just suppressing does not work. You need healthy alternatives! For instance, instead of heading for sugar filled disgusting cookies, go for delicious dried fruit snacks! This works wonders! It is called redirecting! http://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm Attack junk food! - ARTICLE
Junk food is your enemy!
Never hesitate to dump it in the rubbish bin! Destroy it with total pleasure whenever you see it! Yes! It is destruction of something that might be your own property! You can be as aggressive as you want. You can be explosive! Let your anger and rage get out and stop protecting and defending junk food as if you owed it something! This is a battle! Defend your space! Defend your life! You are the one in charge! http://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm First strategy - Praize healthy food! - ARTICLE
fresh vegetables are delightful!
They make you feel complete when you eat them. The amount of energy you get from them is so incredible that you feel life force flowing through your whole body. Get the picture? This is just a strating point. You can follow up on that idea and write whole poems dedicated to the joy of eating healthy ;) This will absolutely totally recreate a new set of emotional associations with healthy foods http://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm Negative sponsoring forces - ARTICLE
In many cases, triggers for emotional eating are external.
In other terms there is an external trigger or sponsoring force encouraging a negative eating pattern. It can come from friends or family members who suffer from the same negative eating patterns and don't want you to succeed. Or it can be the marketing hype surrounding junk food. In the case of friends and family members, you can observe competitive patterns between you and the other person. In a way, they feel you compete with them when you try to eat healthier. The goal of competition is to win, right? They simply don't want you to win. On top of that, seeing you eat healthy challenges them because it forces the,m to look at their own habits. It's hard to keep in denial when they see the positive impact that healthy eating patterns have on you. Got that? It is because of this competitive attitudes that people will encourage negative eating patterns in others. It is as well related with the desire to share and connect, even if it is within a self destructive circle. This works in the same way as drinking and smoking. It is a social thing. With food corporations stimulating consumption of junk food, the interest is profit. The agenda is very similar though! Someone benefits from someone else eating junk food. So, when confronted with positive food choices, a person will often select junk food instead of healthy food because of the ongoing marketing brain washing which is now totally subconsciously embeded in people's minds. All these positive images associated with junk food are now paying off and to experience fun, joy or pleasure, someone will be mislead and head for the junk food section. The truth is that the pleasure that someone experiences when eating healthy is from a totally different octave! The pleasure you get when eating raw food is so intense and delightful and totally overpowers the emotions associated with junk food. http://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm If it is bad for you, why do you eat it? - ARTICLE
Because it satisfies an emotional drive.
The chemicals which are released when responding to emotional eating are simply more needed than the ones created when you respond to rational or healthy food choices. In some situations, when eating patterns are healthy, the release of biochemicals associated with good foods will be a perfect match. In thse cases, emotional eating is solved. The pattern is overpowered by a force which is stronger. http://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm Emotional eating - The top nutrition challenge in today's society - ARTICLE
Yes! It is that simple!
The number one health and nutrition challenge people face is emotional eating. In other terms, when people eat unhealthy, thy don't chose the foods and nutrition habits which are good for them, it is their emotional conditioning which does take over and directs the eating game. Cookie snacks, fast food, junk of all types, sweets, ice creams, etc. All these bad choices are related with one thing only: the overpowering of the action by an self destructive emotional drive. In some cases, this emotional drive is relatively soft and the consequences ofr the body are not too strong. In other situations, this emotional eating pattern is so bad that a person can enter a self destructive eating pattern which will destroy their life. The negative health consequences can be so bad that a person dies as a consequnce of these negative eating patterns. What is the conclusion? Food is an addiction for many people. In these cases reason and will power are often overpowered by this emotional drive which does take over. In other terms, the final solution for solving self destructive eating patterns is about tackling this single behavior: emotional eating. Today's eating or health crisis can be summarized to this simple challenge. Solving it would get rid of 90% of the health problems related with bad eating patterns. http://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm Power breakfast recipe - 8 min - VIDEOhttp://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm Power breakfast recipe - whole flour based - Break does not work for me - raisins, banana, seeds, whole flour - Uncooked - Tsampa - budwig cream http://vitalcoaching.com/stayfit.htm Don't buy cookies, chocolate or junk food - 5 min
