How to eat healthy when you have kids - NUTRITION

Getting your kids to eat healthy can be a real battle.

So, if you are the one trying to make healthy life style changes for yourself, here is what you can do first.

Strategy number 1: get yourself to a place where you are "stable" with your new nutrition habits BEFORE you try to influence anyone else.

You know that making core nutrition changes takes focus and energy.

It IS an emotional process!

So the last thing you want is to waste your energy convincing others that your choices are the right ones.

Once, you are done with your own transformation process and you feel your kids deserve healthier eating options, you can engage in educating them.

But, do that only once you are stable with you own new habits.

So, what to do with meals while you transition?

Do you need to make sacrifices and eat what everyone else wants or do you force your choices on others and create conflicts by doing so?

The answer is simple:

Prepare many options!

Here are a few key strategies you can apply:

Here is what will probably happen sooner or later.

If your kids see you enjoying a nice fresh salad, they will probably want to try at some point.

If you give them the space to make their own choice, they will naturally be drawn towards healthier options over time.

Remember, change your habits first before you try influencing anyone else!

That's the key to your new healthy nutrition.
