I have a serious crush on a coworker. Everybody in my office knows. I am sure that he has to know. We chat often and he is polite but reserved. He flirts with me, but from a distance. I spent all evening googling him. (that is so sad) I have gotten no work done. I want to send him an e-mail that just gets it all out in the open, but I don't want to see "I just want to be friends" Does anybody have any suggestions?

Don't!!!

Don't tell him how you feel or that you have a crush.

This comes later if he does respond and take some steps in your direction.

Watch this new video:

http://vitalcoaching.com/videos/d1/why_ ... th_you.htm

It will give you a hint on why he flirts with you.

If you want to take a step, keep on flirting with him and one day, when you walk out, say something like: "I'm going for a drink, care to join me?"

That's it!

If he does not respond, get back to the forum, we'll check what to do next

Enjoy!

Well I have an update. We are going on a work related project. We will be exploring the down town area together. For marketing purposes. He is the one who offered to give me the tour. Is this a good thing? Right now we still only communicate via e-mail. Sometimes it takes a really long time for him to respond, where as he always has my response in less than 5 minutes. Should I stop that? Am I over thinking this? Our "date" is right after the New Year. I only have a couple of weeks to get ready.

keep it light, simple and lower all your expectations.

Answering his emails within 5 minutes might let you sound needy, especially if he is not responding very fast.

Focus just on fun when you have any occasion to interact. Fun and complicity are the qualities that will bring you closer, not some form of dating aggreement.

Makes sense, right?

Enjoy!

Hi,brighteyedgirl

First thing first don't send any e-mails
If everybody in your office knows I am sure that he also knows and I wonder how do they all know about it ain't this suppose to be a secret and if they knows I am sure that you were the first one to tell them about your crush or may be not****** Soooooooo

What you should do it's not to complicated just go to him and ask him out , have some nerves and courage, if he flirts with you he won't rejected you.
