The First Question Healing Actually Asks
Before you heal someone, you have to ask them something first.
Are they willing to give up the things that made them sick?
Crying Out For Change While Holding The Pattern Tight
People ask for change constantly.
And just as constantly, they hold onto the exact habits, identities, and attachments that keep the old pattern alive.
The Man In The River
A man is drowning. He screams for rescue.
And the whole time, he’s gripping the stone that’s pulling him under.
His struggle was never against the current. It was against himself.
Suffering Is Familiar. That’s What Makes It Sticky.
Suffering is a well-worn groove in the mind, a rhythm you’ve danced to for years.
Painful, yes. But known. And the known, no matter how unbearable, usually feels safer than the vastness of the unknown.
Healing Is A Subtraction, Not An Addition
It’s not something you gain.
It’s something you release.
Stepping Into Wellness Means Leaving Someone Behind
Not another person. A version of yourself.
The one who had gotten comfortable inside the sickness has to be the one who stays behind.
So Before You Ask For Healing
Ask yourself this instead:
Am I ready to let go of who I was, to become who I am meant to be?
If you already sense which stone you’re gripping but can’t quite open your hand, that’s exactly where real support makes the difference. Reach out for coaching and let’s open it together.
