WHAT’S THE INTENTION? — THE QUESTION THAT TRANSFORMS A FIGHT INTO A PRACTICE

Before you enter a Vital Fight — know why you are going in.

The intention shapes everything.

It determines what you do with the energy. How you use it. What you walk out with.

Without a clear intention — a fight is just a fight.

With a clear intention — it becomes a practice.

The Core Intentions

  • Connect Deeper — Use the shadow aspect not to destroy — but to reach a level of intimacy that surface conversation never touches.
  • Let It Stream — Simply release what has been building. No agenda. Just expression and flow.
  • Voice What’s Stacked — Say the thing that has been sitting in your system unexpressed. Clear the backlog.
  • Create Freedom — Break through the internal limits that have been keeping you small, polite or suppressed.
  • Own Your Emotions — Take full ownership of anger, frustration and irritation instead of being owned by them.
  • Channel the Fire — Take the raging energy and direct it consciously into something creative and alive.
  • Build Comfort With Friction — Train yourself to be at ease in tension, conflict and charged situations.
  • Master Your Weapons — Learn your own emotional and verbal arsenal — and how to use it with precision.
  • Channel Aggressive Energy — Find the creative outlets for the force that would otherwise leak out as damage.

Intention Is What Separates Practice From Chaos

Two people can engage in the exact same verbal intensity.

One is unconscious — driven by reactivity, resentment and the need to win.

The other is conscious — driven by a clear intention to express, release or connect.

The words might sound the same. The outcomes are completely different.

Intention is the invisible force that transforms the experience.

You Don’t Need One Reason — You Need Clarity

Your intention doesn’t have to be profound.

It doesn’t have to be spiritual or evolved.

It just has to be honest.

“I want to release tension.”

“I want to say what I’ve been holding back.”

“I want to feel what it’s like to fight without the relationship falling apart.”

Any of these is enough. Name it. Own it. Then step in.

Intention After the Fight Matters Too

When the session ends — check in with yourself.

Did you get what you came for?

Did the fight serve the intention you set?

This reflection is how you get better at using conflict consciously — session after session.

The fight is data.

The intention is the lens you read that data through.

Together — they build mastery.
